Hypnotherapy / Psychotherapy can help teach you how to relax mentally and physically, create more positive thoughts, become aware of negative thought patterns and help you to change them into more positive ones.

With the help of hypnotherapy / psychotherapy, we can change the situations that are causing you stress. You may be surprised how small things can have a big impact. You can also be helped to look at situations differently.

Sometimes a situation cannot be changed, but the way you think about it can help you cope with the pressure much better.

My top tips for managing stress

1. Exercise regularly

Doing a form of exercise that you really enjoy can be very beneficial to relieve stress whether it's a walk, a swim or something more active.

Activities like this also give you important time-out where you can change your focus.

2. Break up tasks

Break up tasks into smaller chunks so that they are not so overwhelming.

Limit your tasks into no more than 3 at a time to make your tasks more manageable and remember to be proud of yourself for completing them.

3. Take time out

Taking time to sit in a nice, quiet spot where you won't be disturbed, breathing deeply in and out, and thinking about something that gives you a good feeling, makes you feel calm and more in control.

Your time-out will reduce your stress, make you more energised and have a clearer head for the day ahead...

What can you expect?

1. Get in touch

This is a free consultation. We will spend half on hour talking, where you'll be able to tell me about the changes you want to make.

I'll be able to answer any questions you have and I'll explain the different options of therapy. Together, we'll decide which one will work best for you.

2. You first session

Your first session will last approximately 50 minutes and will be a mixture of talking and working with the appropriate therapy - Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, or BWRT.

I'll always give you something to take away, whether that's a relaxation recording or self-help tools that you can use or practice in between sessions...

3. Follow up

If follow up sessions are needed, we'll discuss your progress so far and then continue with the appropriate therapy.

Depending on what is being worked with, it can normally take between 1 and 4 sessions to get your desired results which will be discussed in your initial consultation
