The most basic steps you can take to manage anxiety include learning to relax both mentally & physically, exercising regularly and making better use of your time.
Count slowly to 10 backwards, then imagine being in a nice, peaceful place. This will help you to physically and mentally relax - reducing anxiety.
Eat well-balanced meals, limit alcohol and caffeine, which can all help create a more natural state of relaxation.

Your first session will last approximately 50 minutes and will be a mixture of talking and working with the appropriate therapy - Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, or BWRT.
I'll always give you something to take away, whether that's a relaxation recording or self-help tools that you can use or practice in between sessions...
If follow up sessions are needed, we'll discuss your progress so far and then continue with the appropriate therapy.
Depending on what is being worked with, it can normally take between 1 and 4 sessions to get your desired results which will be discussed in your initial consultation

The first part of the session is to encourage you to relax, both mentally and physically, by using positive language to allow this to naturally happen. We will then work with the anxious thoughts, allowing you to think and feel differently about the anxiety.
For example: Seeing yourself looking happy, relaxed and calmer - can help you to be actually achieving this.
It normally takes around 4 sessions to help someone to deal with anxiety but this can depend on the level of anxiety that a person is feeling - so it could actually take fewer sessions.
